Export anything as a PDF

Beginner2 min readUpdated May 2026

Almost anything you build in Curtyn, a list, a shotlist, a schedule, a budget, a breakdown, can be exported as a clean, branded PDF. This short guide covers how.

1

Find the export option

Open the tool you want to export and look for Export or the PDF action. Every tool that produces a document people pass around offers it in the same place.

2

Choose what to include

Export the whole thing, or narrow it to one part, a single scene of a breakdown, one day of a schedule. The PDF carries your project's title and identity, so it looks like your production.

Tip

Export the slice a person actually needs. A gaffer wants the lighting list, not the whole equipment inventory.

3

Download and share the PDF

Download the file to send on, or print it for set. Because it is a plain PDF, it works for everyone, and it is the copy that still reads fine when the wi-fi on location does not.
