Find your way around the workspace
Curtyn has a lot of tools, but the layout stays the same wherever you are. Once you know the few areas of a project, you can find anything in a couple of clicks. This is a quick tour.
In this guide
Start at the project dashboard
The dashboard is the first thing you see when you open a project. It shows recent activity, the tools in use, and anything waiting on you. Think of it as the call sheet for your work inside Curtyn.
Move between tools in the sidebar
The sidebar on the left lists every tool in the project: script, shotlist, storyboard, lists, files, budget, locations, schedule. Selecting one opens it in the main area. Your place in each tool is kept as you move between them.
Find your files in one place
Every file you upload lives in the project's file system, not inside a single tool. A clip in a review thread and the same clip in a delivery package are one file, in one place.
When a tool asks for a file, you pick it from the project rather than uploading again. One copy, reachable from everywhere.
Reach people and sharing from the top
The controls for who is in the project, and for sharing work outside it, sit at the top of every screen. People and share links are always one click away, whatever tool you happen to be in.
